Recollect

Recollect was a commission from ArtHouse Jersey, and made in collaboration with Age Concern. It is a unique and interactive work, combining emerging technologies with more traditional techniques, where precious memories have been transformed into sensory pieces of work. Each memory is housed deliberately, delicately and sensitively inside a wardrobe and can be explored variously through the senses of sight, sound, smell and touch. Whether that involves lifting a telephone to hear a voice, bending to peep through a keyhole to see a secret, or causing a reaction by simply being present. As such all of them have the power to create a deep, resonant and emotional connection.
