To make this series, comprised of four sculptures, I taught myself taxidermy and the use of this and presentation of wax is integral as both are subject to the processes of rendering.
The birds are held, as if in mid flight; have they been captured or are they about to be released? And what of the other two hands... would they ever be capable of flight?
