I made Worry Head as a placatory tool, having previously made another for a friend who was struggling with their mental health during the lockdown of 2020. These over-sized, exaggerated heads became a vehicle for transubstantiation; the head would become the agent of anxious thoughts and not the wearer. It is both a mask and an embodiment; the ailment and the cure.
